UEFA praised Fenerbahce in its official website uefa.com because of the victory against Besiktas. The article about the match has the title ’Kezman clips Black Eagles’ wings’: It is written that Fenerbahce gained a great advantage after a 1-0 win against our closest rival Besiktas and is very close to be the champion.
The editors described Tuncay’s pass which made Kezman score for Fenerbahce as ’wonderful’.

WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS

Fenerbahce Football Team finished the Turkcell Super League as the champion for the 17th time after the match against Trabzonspor which ended in a draw 2-2. This score was good enough to declare Fenerbahce’s championship in the league.
Fenerbahce proudly wins this title for the 17th time.
The match against Trabzonspor started fast with 2 goals: in the 2nd minute Yattara scored for Trabzonspor but Tuncay made Fenerbahce stand up and fight for the title again. The first half ended with Trabzonspor’s goal and in the second half Alex missed a penalty but Deivid’s goal equalized the score.

Queens of the League

Fenerbahce Women’s Basketball Team handed the crown of the Turkish League by being the champion in our 100th year after they defeated Besiktas with the result 59-57 in the Caferaga Sport Venue.
The Queens won this precious title for the 5. time.
Our President Aziz Yildirim, directors, Yüksel Günay, manager Volkan Balli and footballer Can Arat also supported the team by watching the final game from the tribune.

Galatasaray 1 - 2 Fenerbahce

In the 33. week of the Turkcell Super League Fenerbahce played against Galatasaray in Ali Sami Yen Stadium. Fenerbahce defeated its rivale Galatasaray with the result 2-1.
The referee had to stop the game for several times because of the disturbtion caused by the Galatasaray fans who threw lots of foreign materials into the pitch. In the first half of the match Fenerbahce had a clear dominance over Galatasaray and as a result of this pressure Fenerbahce scored 2 goals.
In the beginning of the second half the referees went to the locker room and waited there until the fans calmed down. Galatasaray fans also fought with police officers. At the end of the match Galatasaray succeed in scoring a goal but that goal could not bring them the precious 3 points that they needed to end the league in the second position.
Hundreds of Fenerbahce fans were also present at the game to support their team in this difficult atmosphere.

Fenerbahce reached the peak of Everest

Fenerbahce climbers Tunc Findik and Mustafa Kalayci reached the peak of Mount Everest with their Fenerbahce flags today.
Mount Everest was the last stage of the ’Fenerbahce at the peaks of the world’ Project.
Our climbers contacted us via phone and told: ’We reached the peak of Everest today. We are proud to announce that our Fenerbahce flags are to be waved here in our 100th year.We dedicate this success to our club and to the fans.’

Cup of the Champion

Fenerbahce starts to celebrate the title which is won in the 100. year. 55 000 Fenerbahce fans gathered in Fenerbahce Kadiköy Stadium to witness this important and legendary night when the Turkish Champion 2007 Fenerbahce gets its cup.
The celebration began with the champions in other branches, which also proved that Fenerbahce is successful in all of its branches. Fenerbahce has a golden place not only in football, but in all of branches in sports.
After the tour of the other champions, old legendary footballers Cemil Turan, Cem Pamiroglu, Oguz Cetin, Senol Corlu, Semih Yuvakuran, Ridvan Dilmen, Turhan Sofuoglu, Serkan Acar, Ali Nail Durmus, Mehmet Cakiroglu, Müjdat Yetkiner, Uche, Bolic, Balic, Metin Diyadin and Johnson who had played in Fenerbahce in the past, played a friendly All Star match which cheered all of the fans up.
At the end of this friendly game Fenerbahce President Aziz Yildirim handed the lottery gifts of the 100th year to the winners.
The President of the Turkish Football Federation Haluk Ulusoy finally presented the Turkish Cup to the Champion Fenerbahce.

Roberto Carlos joins Fenerbahçe

Brazilian full back Roberto Carlos is a Fenerbahçe player following an agreement being reached with the player’s agent, Dino Pasalic.

The transfer is announced here on Fenerbahce.org and on FBTV, where Roberto Carlos spoke live on a phone connection, stating that this move is "very important" for him. Carlos said: "I’m very happy to be a Fenerbahçe player next season." Speaking in Turkish, he said: "Fenerbahçe, the greatest! Fenerbahçe, the champions!"
Pasalic, present at the FBTV studio with Vice-President Murat Özaydınlı, said that Carlos had wanted to come to Fenerbahçe last season, but his contract posed an obstacle to the move. "He made a promise to Fenerbahçe last year and Carlos always keeps his promises."
Özaydınlı was notably proud of the signing: "We have transferred a player that conforms to the traditions of Fenerbahçe. Everyone must thank President Aziz Yıldırım. How great it is that today we don’t have too much difficulty in signing players of legendary status."
The Real Madrid defender will be coming to Turkey in the near future for an official presentation.

And the winner is... FENERBAHCE

In Cologne Rhein Energie Stadium Fenerbahce has won the Turkish Super Cup by defeating Besiktas with the result 2-1. Firstly Deivid cheered up the fans by scoring the first goal for Fenerbahce in the 14th minute. In the 20th minute Bobo scored a goal for Besiktas which made their fans start to hope for a possible victory again. In the 86th minute Kezman’s magnificient goal has determined the ultimate score of the final: 2-1.
Thousands of Fenerbahce fans came to the stadium to support the team and lead them to victory.
With this victory Fenerbahce has won just another cup in its 100th year.
