GREEN DAY Biyografi MsXLabs.org Mister dirnt, Armstrong ve de coool'dan olusan grup, 1987'de sweet children adıyla kuruldu.Daha sonra 1990'da Green Dat adını aldı.Billie joe armstrong'un Fronmani olduğu pop-punk grubu,Dookie,Insomniac ve Nimrod albümşeriyle punk-rockın kralları konumuna gelmişlerdir.en son Warning Albümleriyle belli bir ölçüdedengesizlik göstererek eski fanlarını hayal kırıklığına uğratmışlardır.Yine de Gelecekte doolie 2 gibi bir patlamanın olabileceği sinyallerini zaman zaman vermektedirler... Grub Dookie albümünün çıkmasıdan sonra dünya bir punk patlaması başlatmışlardır. "Dooki" Amerika'da grunge sonrası havayı en iyi Kullanan albümlerinden biriydi. Colifornialı Salaş bir grubun 10 milyon kadar albüm satmasının bir açıklaması da buydu.Müthiş enerjsi ve olağanüstü şarkılarıyla Wezer'dan American Hi-Fi'a kadar birçok pop/punk Grubuna kapı açmış bir başyapıttan sonra Green Day'in de işi zordu. Onlarsa renkten uzak, birbirinin karbon kopyaları gibi duran parçalarla dolu "insomniac"a imza attılar. Yeni bir "Doolie" zaten beklenmiyordu ama bu kadar çabuk bir düşüş de olacak iş değildi.Sptlar üzerinden çevrilce "Nimrod" gibi süper bir albüm daha patlattılar, ardından da eleştirmenlerin olgunluk belirtisi olarak gördükleri"Warning" geldi Artık Amerkan rock!ının bestseller'larından biri olmakla uzaktan akrabalar ama yine de onlardankaliteli işler bekleyenlerin de hayal kırıklığına uğrama ihtimalleri azaldı gibi görünüyor.
