comparative cümleleri

İki şeyden birisinin üstün olmasına göre yapılan karşılaştırmaya COMPARATIVE diyoruz. Bunu da karşılaştırılan isimlerin önüne "more" getirerek, sıfatlarda ise ya yine başına "more" getirerek ya da sonuna "-er" takısı getirerek yapıyoruz.

Örneğin "beautiful" --> "more beautiful than",
"experienced" --> "more experienced than",
"great" --> "greater than",
"small" --> "smaller than" olur.

Burada önemli bir nokta, bazı sıfatların değişiklik gösterdiğidir; "good", "better" olur;
"bad", "worse" haline gelir.

İsimlerde ise "money" --> "more money than",
"water" --> "more water than" durumuna gelirler.
