Tampere Üniversitesi (University of Tampere)

The University of Tampere is a multidisciplinary scientific community with a special commitment to the critical scrutiny of social phenomena and the formation of civic society. Research include society, economy, administration and culture, likewise public health, well-being and education.
The University of Tampere occupies premises at several locations around the city centre, within easy reach of all services. Student accommodation is located in the centre and also in the suburbs, a 15-minute busride out of town.
The University also operates in other towns, with a teacher education department in the town of Hämeenlinna, some 70 kilometres to the south. The Centre for Extension Studies has facilities in Hämeenlinna, and in the town of Seinäjoki, some 200 kilometres to the north of Tampere.
