Elaine Cunningham

12 Ağustos 1957 yılında New York doğumlu amerikalı fantastik ve bilim kurgu yazarıdır.
Unutulmuş Diyarlar'ın en gözde yazarlarından biridir. Birçok fantastik kitabın ve kısa öykünün yazarı olmakla birlikte, kendi deyimiyle birçok ''berbat'' şiirin de yazarıdır. Eski bir tarih ve müzik öğretmeni olan Cunningham, tüm zamanını roman yazmaya ayırabilmek için öğretmenliği bıraktı. Fırsat buldukça bahçe bakımıyla uğraşan ve Ren Faires ve Kelt festivallerine katılan Cunningham, kocası William ve iki oğluyla Maryland'de yaşamaktadır.
Hayatının dönemlerini haziranın ateşböcekleri, sonbahar renkleri ve komşu çocuklar için verdikleri partilerdeki şenlik ateşleri ile tanımlamaktadır. Günün saatlerinin ve kütüphanesindeki rafların azlığından yakınmaktadır.
