Universe: Marvel UniverseFinding himself on Earth for reasons even he doesn't understand, the mysterious alien known as Adam-X is determined to discover his true origins. Finding himself in the employ of Martin Strong, Adam once clashed with Cable's X-Force team. Adam then encountered and was defeated by Davan Shakari, a.k.a. Eric the Red, who placed a cerebral lock on Adam which swayed him under Shakari's control. Shakari sent X-Treme after Legacy, the son of the original Captain Marvel, and during the encounter the pair were shifted to the Negative Zone when Adam struck Legacy's nega-bands together. Powers
X-Treme is also a mutant who can cause the electrolytes present in blood to ignite, causing the person to burn from the inside out. The intensity of the burn is variable, being anywhere from just a warming sensation to incinerating a person within a matter of seconds. X-Treme can affect multiple targets with this power, and the average intensity of it is enough to stun. This does take a tremendous effort for Adam and will usually leave him in a weakened state, so he doesn't do it very often. Also, in order for Adam to ignite the electrolytes he must first oxygenate the blood. This is usually done by cutting the target and exposing their blood to the air. X-Treme's costume is covered with razor-sharp blades for this purpose.

X-Treme is half-human and half-Shi'ar - a mix that bestows upon him several abilities. He is very strong, being able to press somewhere in the range of 500 lbs. His physical endurance is about 10 times that of a normal human. His reflexes and ability to move are far superior to both human and Shi'ar. Combined with his acrobatic and combat skills, he makes a lethal fighter that is hard to target or catch.
